2008 Installations
PyroBeat is a user controlled, propane powered, computer interfaced, fire art piece. PyroBeat controls up to 41 independently activated flame units. There are four different sizes of flames, ranging from 3 to 12 feet.

Exploring the boundaries and literally gate between heaven and earth, this sculpture is largely metalwork, with a black glass pyramid capstone, and a gate platform that participants may traverse. This sculpture is over 16 feet tall and 23 feet wide. This image is at 60% completion. The platform floor, still in progress, will be made of glass blocks individually lit by computer-controlled multi-color LED lighting.
